Habitat for Humanity Today

We are presently looking for a partner family for our 2012 build! Please contact us if you know of a family for us to help!

Habitat has built more than 300,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1,000,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable housing. These homes were built because of the belief that as Christians, we honor God by building simple, decent homes with families in need of shelter.

Construction began on Habitat's 2010 house for the Jennifer Nichols family back in September 2010. The home is now complete and ready for the Dedication!

We had our Dedication Ceremony and Open House on Palm Sunday 4/17/11. The tour started at 11:30 with a brief ceremony at noon,followed by refreshments. This home was sponsored by First Union Congregational church in celebration of their 150th birthday.Click here for photos!.

Thrivent Builds/ Habitat 2007 This home was completed and Dedicated to the Glory of God on 12/23/07.The Schoenecase family moved in on Christmas Eve!

Quincy Habitat house - 1025 Jefferson
The Quincy Habitat house was completed and Dedicated to the Glory of God on 11/18/07.The Straube family is thrilled to be purchasing their new Habitat home.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Build - Quincy Area Habitat donated 23,000.00 towards a Habitat home in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and sent volunteers to help with the Blitz Build.

QAHFH built 2 homes in 2008!! The Quincy home was built with the Justin Messan family on 14th and Jackson. The Thrivent Builds/ Habitat home was built with Greg and Brittney Foster in Coatsburg, Illinois. First Bankers Trust was our corporate sponsor once again!
